Paramedic - Clinical/Skills

STUDENTS ALSO MUST REGISTER FOR SECTION 76056, THE PARAMEDIC DIDACTIC/LAB CLASS THAT RUNS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS CLASS.
This 52-week HYBRID class runs from 09/09/24 to 09/07/25. In addition to module-based online didactic course work, the course includes 36 onsite skill lab sessions, 300 hours of Clinical and Field Experience, and 200 hours of Clinical Education Field Internship.
Student who take this credential-based class will learn the skills necessary to become an entry level paramedic. The course adheres to current guidelines established by the NC Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS). This may include, but not be limited to, OEMS Education Institution approval; admissions requirements; course content, equipment standards, clinical and/or field requirements; and skills documentation.

Requirements
ALL REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW MUST BE MET AND DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT IN THE CLASS. ENROLLMENT IS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
Before enrollment, students must provide 1) proof of college-level math and English skills or qualifying placement scores; 2) current EMT, AEMT, or EMT-I certification; 3) high-school diploma, transcript or high school equivalency certificate; and 4) current government-issued ID.
