Notary Public

This TRADITIONAL class runs from 1/09/24 to 01/11/24.

This course is designed to provide instruction to individuals who want to become commissioned as a Notary Public. Topics include legal, ethical and procedural requirements of the Notary Act. Upon completion of this course with a passing exam grade of 80%, a person is eligible to make application with the NC Secretary of State office. A current copy of "Notary Public Manual 2016 Edition" is required for this class.

Students must be 18 years old and reside or work in N.C. Students also must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid photo-ID, and be fluent in English
